Ollie, Billy and Logan along with Jaime from Room 7 took part in the Year 5 Numberworks O'Mathalon at the Edgar Centre. They showed off their impressive math problem solving skills by finishing 2nd!! Super effort team!

Outram School Speech Night
Monday 11th was speech night. From Room 6 we had Isaac persuading us why he should not have to eat vegetables, Ollie gave great reasons why rugby should be a summer sport, Lachlan was encouraging us all to take up the bagpipes and Anna was very persuasive when it came to telling us why she should be an only child. Congratulations to Anna and Ollie who got 1st and 3rd respectively in the Year 5 group.

How We Spent Our Burger Pofit
With the profit we made from our Super Six burger sales we were able to buy a monopoly game, a chess set and two big boxes of lego. As Mary pointed out in her recent persuasive speech on use of technology in schools, since we bought the lego no one now asks to play on the ipads before school, they are now involved in lego construction.
Burger Production
The last Wednesday of Term saw us producing our burgers. Our production line that we designed was very efficient and we were able to produce around 130 burgers on time and to a standardised recipe. We had great feedback from our customers!! Thank you to the Mum's who came in to do some of the prep work and cooking of the meat patties.
