Cup Cake-tastic!

Today was the beginning of a new Allen Centre Challenge for the children of Room 6. The Master Chef Challenge will run for the whole of Term 4. The children were teamed up with class mates and Mrs Bremner explained the rules and the time frame for the session.

The children were given buckets of ingredients, instructions and cupcakes to decorate.

Once everything had been explained the children set to work.

Everyone was on task and busy.

Clean up was a very important part of the challenge.

I think you will agree the results looked pretty amazing!

There can only be one winner though and the judges agreed that the simplicity of William's design just pipped the other cupcakes - well done William.

Jacob and Andrew's group, down one member today, managed to gain the points for super team work: a hard one to grab because the teams were all on their game today, so good job boys.

Everyone is a winner when you get to eat your creations! Thanks Mrs Bremner that was the best fun!

Tiddler the Puppet Show

Julia Donaldson and Alex Scheffler's creation Tiddler is the star of Room 6's puppet show.

Here Room 6 are having their final practice before their performance to the junior school.

Meg narrates the tale of Tiddler: the very small fish who tells some very tall tales!

Room 6 spent much of term 3 creating their wonderful puppets and practicing the show.

The show was a huge success with the audience.

Well done Room 6! Check out the Allen Centre blog for some clips of the performance.
