Welcome to Room 6

We are the Year 6 Class at Outram School. Our teachers are Mrs Tansley and Mrs Hunter. Outram school is on the Taieri Plains about five minutes drive away from Dunedin Airport and half an hour away from Dunedin city itself.

Kiwi Golf

Room 6 enjoyed a Kiwi Golf session with Melanie Harper. We practiced our grip, stance and swing. Noah was asked by Melanie to help demonstrate the correct way to hold a golf club - you made a great model Noah. We found out that it can be quite tricky to hit a very small ball with a long club!!

Welcome to the Room 6 Blog

We are a class of 30 Year 6 students, our teachers are Mrs Tansley and Mrs Parks. We are polite, kind and look out for each other. We are enthusiastic learners and we like trying new things. Students in our class take part in a wide range of co curricular opportunities offered at school including kapa haka, enviro group, choir, sketching, mechanics and robotics. Some of us have stepped up to a school leader role by becoming PALs (Physical Activity Leaders).
